With the Monaco Grand Prix occurring this weekend, I was reminded of my trip there in September 2013. I have to admit that the principality has never been one of my favourite destinations – but this is partly because I generally end up here after some spots along the Cote d’Azure with less cement and fewer people. I took this photo of Marina Bay Sands from Gardens by the Bay at 9:08am yesterday. The thunderheads were already building up so taking photos after around 10am probably wouldn’t have yielded the blue skies in the background. Used a wide angled lens at focal length 16mm, ISO200, f13, 1/80.
